Teddy Swims at United Center: Chicago Concert Guide
Teddy Swims brings the I've Tried Everything But Therapy Tour to United Center in Chicago, Illinois on. This Concerts event sits in the R&B / soul category, with a sound that blends soul, R&B, pop, country-pop, and rock-influenced vocals.
Teddy Swims Biography and Tour
Atlanta-born singer-songwriter Teddy Swims first grew a substantial audience through online covers before breaking through with emotionally direct original songs. His raspy, powerful voice and personal songwriting have helped make tracks such as “Lose Control,” “The Door,” and “Bad Dreams” central to his rise. “Lose Control” reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and went on to set a record for the longest run on the chart.
The tour supports the broader I've Tried Everything But Therapy album era, including I've Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 2), released January 24, 2025. The album reached the top five in the United States and placed highly in Australia, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand. Swims' songs often explore heartbreak, healing, and self-worth, giving the live show plenty of material for both full-crowd singalongs and quieter, emotional moments. He received a 2025 GRAMMY nomination for Best New Artist.
Earlier tour reviews have highlighted Swims' vocal control, the show's arena-scale production, and its cathartic feel. Teddy Swims United Center Concert reviews
The country music Jesus to come and save us all...
This show was really geared toward the Chief album, but he still played plenty of the old stand-by's that everyone wants to hear. The new backdrops and the pyrotechnics are a fun part of the show and enhance some of the songs, but this guy only needs a guitar to put on a great show. If you're a fan of Teddy Swims, this is a must see show. Thanks Church for another unforgettable night. When you have that many good songs, you can't play them all even though I wish he could. I still love that he sets aside a few songs to just play on his acoustic by himself. Springsteen for the last encore song really did tie a melody and a memory together. There is a very raw element of the acoustic and he sticks to his roots. This guy gives everything he's got on stage and it's clear to see the conviction he has.
